Back to CATALOG << Sculpture Rene Culler's three dimensional work in glass, inspired by history, the visual and decorative arts, and literature and can be described as formalist studies in color and composition. Culler uses everyday objects: cups and bowls as the vehicles for colorful metaphor. Sculptural work often utilizes the technique of fusing blown glass forms together and re-firing this new composition within a mold. Please see the About the Artist page, Journal Publications for more information on process. Culler's sculptural work in glass is collected privately and by museums.
