New work is inspired by travel and leads to many avenues of investigation. The flask, full moon, and changuum or “passport” form are being re-visited in new work. Hiking through the mountains in Korea, large boulders suggest the human form. The Fulbright Fellowship experience (Korea, 2012) has highly influenced the work. The vessel becomes more abstract in form and color. While there, at the host institution, Namseoul University, engraving glass with diamond wheels added to the abstract quality of the work, and demanded consideration for the surface and textural feeling to the glass.

The celebration of Mardi Gras in Mobile, AL has led to a re-discovery of the Tarot, and the work begun after traveling to southern France and Spain in 2000, with a grant from the Ohio Arts Council will continue.
